How To Increase Your Restaurant Phone Orders By 25% - 100%+

Something very interesting happened in August 2018.  While reviewing the monthly website stats for my coffee shop & restaurant clients, I noticed an anomaly in the "click-to-call" statistics.  Every single single location had seen a significant increase in the number of calls in August. No exceptions.

So - what made the difference?  After all, many families take their vacation in August, resulting in lower traffic, not higher.  The economy didn't change from July to August, at least not that I was aware of.  And the restaurant industry is highly competitive - that hasn't changed.  My secret?

 

What happened, was that I added a "Place An Order" call button directly on the menu, and that made the difference.  Keep in mind there was already a "call us" button on the websites, and a click-to-call button on the mobile versions.  However, placing an "order" button directly on the menu makes it simple and easy for the customers. It also stimulates a subconscious response, almost as in a command; "place an order."

A word of caution; this only works if your online menu is digital and easy to read on a smartphone. Over 50% of menu views nowadays come from smartphone users, and if they can't easily read your menu, you are in trouble.  This solution will not work on a PDF menu, which is very difficult to navigate on a smartphone.  If your restaurant menu is not mobile friendly, you are missing out on the greatest marketing opportunity in history.  Smartphone users.

In the above example, this restaurant doubled their phone orders.  What if you could do the same?  It's possible. If you want to easily increase your sales, add a "place an order" call button on your website menu. And if your menu isn't mobile friendly, fix it ASAP.  You can thank me later.
